Simple as that. In fact, in Russian, it’s not that different. But, if you’re east of Lviv, you’ll want to say it in Russian Here’s how…

“Ty krasivaya”

The best way to say “how are you” in Ukrainian is the following…

“Yak spravy?”

Like many Ukrainian phrases, the spelling is very similar to how it is pronounced.

What if I want to say it in Russian?

Good question. Most Ukrainians speak both languages, and the farther East you go, the more common it is that the locals speak Russian.

In Russian, it would be as such…

“Kak dila?”
