Slovakia, otherwise known as the Slovak Republic, is a landlocked nation in Central Europe. Sharing a border with Poland, Austria, Hungary, and Ukraine, it is home to nearly 6 million people. The majority of the population is ethnically Slovakian, and the official language is Slovak.
It is worth noting that Slovakia is not to be confused with Czechoslovakia, or the Czech Republic.
In 1993, the nation known as Czechoslovakia splintered, creating both Slovakia and the Czech Republic as two separate nations. Take my advice: do not mix up the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Beyond this, it’s important to note that the country’s currency is the Euro and that it is a member of NATO. In other words, Slovakia has done a decent job of allying itself with its Western partners.
As a result, the nation is far more developed than a place like Ukraine. This is evident by way of infrastructure, cultural tendencies, and of course, women.

Slovakian women are, generally speaking, a more Westernized version of Ukrainian women.
Like it or not, modernization has crept in. While some of you may rejoice at the idea of women in the workplace, others want a traditional, stay at home wife or girlfriend. If you are in Ukraine, you should 100% go to a Couchsurfing Meetup in your local area.
Couchsurfing is a social network where people will offer to have visitors stay at their home, free of charge. The idea is that by hosting others, other people in the Couchsurfing network will reciprocate and you can also stay at someone’s place for free when traveling.
It allows people from all over the world to connect with each other, and some guys even report that offering up your couch is a good way to meet new women.
But, that sounds a bit childish and like tons of work to us. There are far better ways to meet Ukrainian girls today than offering up your home as a free place to stay for travelers.
Pro-tip: the most attractive women don’t have to use Couchsurfing to find a place to stay, either.
What we do suggest, however, is attending one of the weekly Couchsurfing “meetups” that are held in every major city in the world. These are usually small gatherings that are held at bars, where locals will come to meet people who are traveling through the area.
In all honesty, this is a good way to get acquainted with people in a new city. I’ve met a fair number of friends, and even some business acquaintances through these meetups.
At the very least, it’s a nice place to have a beer with other foreigners if you’re feeling lonely.
Of course, the types of women who attend these events are naturally going to be open to meeting a foreigner. I’d go as far as to say most probably have some type of fantasy built up in their head about dating a foreign man.
I’d be lying if I said I haven’t met countless women at Couchsurfing meetups. The quality of the girls is not always the highest, but you can be sure that you already have a foot in the door if she’s attending an event like this.
2. Toastmasters
Okay, you’re probably thinking “what the hell is Toastmasters, and why would I go to it?”
Fair question! In short, Toastmasters is a non-profit organization that exists all over the world that essentially acts as a “public speaking club.”
In other words, it’s a monthly meetup where people all visit to attempt to improve their ability to speak in front of crowds. Presentations are only done in English, and there are a surprsingly large number of women who attend these events.
Similar to Couchsurfing Meetups, these engagements attract the type of women who speak English and are often interested in meeting a foreign man. Additionally, the stress of having to approach a woman with no introduction whatsoever is essentially gone, as everybody in the group gets to know each other with time as well.
Toastmasters is a great way of improving your public speaking ability (something most women find attractive). It also helps you build a larger social network in Ukraine. Clearly, both of these are hugely helpful to anybody living in the country.
But, be prepared to actually participate in the group and make a commitment to working on your public speaking. These types of engagements are not like Couchsurfing Meetups where you can expect drinks to be served. It’s a more dignified, formal gathering place.
As such, you’re likely to meet higher quality women than those hanging out in the town’s bars. In many ways, it’s the more innocuous, everyday types of places that tend to net the highest quality women.
3. The Grocery Store
I get it, this sounds bizarre. But, hear me out…
In Ukraine, the dairy section is extremely confusing if you don’t speak Russian or Ukrainian.
For example, there are about 4 different products that all look like milk, are packaged like milk, but are not milk.
Embarrassingly enough, I always managed to purchase yogurt, kefir, or cream instead of milk when I first moved to Ukraine.
Imagine my disappointment when I arrived back at my apartment, without milk…for the third time. Eventually, I just started asking people at the grocery store if they could tell me which product is milk, and which is not.
And, a new way to meet Ukrainian girls was born!
Sometimes, I post up at the dairy section for about 5 minutes, particularly if I see a cute girl making her way over to it. I’ll stand there, looking at my phone and at the selection of the products in front of me.
I’ll wait for her to get close enough to me so that we can speak comfortably, and I go in.
I approach, and open with….
“Excuse me, do you speak English?”
Hopefully, I get a small smile, and a “Yes, a little bit.”
I’ll then ask, “Can you tell me which one of these products is milk? I just came to Ukraine, and these all look exactly the same. Can you help?”
Hopefully, she’ll point you in the right direction of “Moloko,” or milk. From there, you drop the following bait.
“Thanks. Where I come from, it’s so much easier to tell which product is which, but I hope it will get easier if I keep working on my Russian.”
With any luck, she’ll reply with, “Really, where are you from?”
After a short conversation, I’ll ask if I can “follow her on Instagram,” or if I’m feeling particularly ballsy, I’ll ask for her WhatsApp. I’ll preface this move with something relatively innocent, like I’m interested in learning more about the city, or I want someone to “show me around.”
Many Ukrainian girls take pride in showing foreigners their town. If a girl likes you, she’ll be happy to take a small walk with you.
Ideally, you’ll leave the grocery store with a new dating prospect, and a liter of milk.
4. Language Schools / English Speaking Clubs
Language schools and English speaking clubs are another goldmine for finding Ukrainian women who want to date foreign men.
For example, legendary former dating coach Roosh V once wrote about actually taking the time to volunteer at a language school in Ukraine as a teacher. He did this as a way to mingle with both female students and teachers.
This obviously requires a huge time commitment. But, as a means of building your social life, it remains a very solid method.

Eventually, he ended up in a relationship with a female coworker. As such, this remains one of the most clever methods for meeting women in any new country we’ve heard to date.

English speaking clubs can also be described as “Women who want to meet foreign men,” clubs.
Generally speaking, an English speaking club is exactly what it sounds like. Similar to a Couchsurfing Meetup, groups will meet on a semi-frequent basis to mingle and practice their English speaking skills in coffeeshops, coworking spaces, and occasionally bars.
Obviously, if you are a native English speaker, you have a huge leg up on everyone else in attendance. People will look to you as an authority on what they are studying. You have immediate “social proof” so to speak.
And, to be perfectly honest, Ukrainian women are intelligent in that they know meeting a foreign man is made far easier if she can speak his language.
Many girls who attend these types of events do so for this precise reason, even if they would never admit it. That’s not a bad thing either, as she’s simply being proactive about meeting someone special, just as you are by reading this website.

Introduction: How Is The Nightlife in Kiev?
Kiev often gets a reputation of having lackluster nightlife. While this is true if you don’t do your homework, we’re here to tell you that Kiev is a city of hidden gems. Sadly, most other nightlife guides on the internet are written by people who hardly ever go out.
They grab a bunch of random places off of Trip Advisor and go to town. We, on the other hand, have been going out in Kiev for over 5 years. Every place on this list is a venue that our team frequently visits, and somewhere we personally vouch for.
Obviously, Kiev has the most variety of Ukrainian city. Countless bars, nightclubs, and restaurants await you. While places like Lviv are certainly good choices as well, Kiev takes the take when it comes to nightlife.
Some of Kiev’s downsides include the fact that it’s huge. As such, getting around can be somewhat difficult. Then again, with Ubers that cost $2-$7, this shouldn’t be much of an issue for you.
In either case, we suggest staying in one of two neighborhoods if you’re interested in frequenting the city’s nightlife.
Getting To Know Kiev
Best Neighborhoods For Nightlife
The best two places for nightlife in Kiev are either the direct city center, and a neighborhood called Podol. Obviously, the direct center of the town is where the hustle and bustle is concentrated, and Podol is the historic center of the town. Much to our liking, Podol is home to older architecture and a more laid back vibe than the direct center.
If you’re looking to wander around an area with a high concentration of venues, Podol is your place. Throughout the nooks and crannies of this historic district, you’ll find numerous bars that are great for stopping into, having a beer, and moving onto the next.
While I’d almost always suggest staying in the center for anybody new to Kiev, Podil offers a whole host of beautiful AirBnb’s and apartments, making it one of the city’s most sought after neighborhoods.
If you can’t already tell, Podol is more our style. It’s a bit more laid back, has a slight “hipster” vibe to it, and is relatively unpretentious when compared to the glamor of a super club.
Even still, for those looking to go all out and pop bottles, we suggest the following three places of interest…
Many people don’t know that it’s actually operated by famous Ukrainian DJ duo Artbat. You don’t often see situations where famous DJs own their own club, but when you do, you can be sure it’s worth checking out.
As such, CHI is somewhat of a “super club.” Even still, it’s not done in an overly pretentious way. You can land a table and a bottle for less than $100, with plenty of space for dancing and socializing alike.
Face control is not overly strict, either. While you should dress the part, if you don’t act like a total moron, you’ll probably get in.
Best of all, CHI books some of the world’s best DJ talent. As a result, you will see some of the hottest women in the city (and maybe the world) here.
If you plan on going with a group, calling ahead and booking a table is never a bad idea. It’s a hotspot, and can sell out quickly.
CLOSER is great for fans of underground Electronic music.
Kiev is sometimes compared to Berlin in terms of nightlife, and CLOSER is the reason why. CLOSER is consistently rated one of the best clubs in the world for Electronic music.
Now, let’s be 100% clear. This is definitely not a you put on a dress shirt for and pop bottles at.
It’s pretty grungy. Lots of people take drugs in places like this. And, it’s a strictly Electronic nightclub where they only play underground House and Techno.
If this is your vibe, go here. But, I’ll admit, it’s an acquired taste. It can get pretty crazy in there sometimes.
Skybar is, predictably, a very standard nightclub. That’s not a bad thing, either.
You could say Skybar is kind of like CHI, but it’s a lot more mainstream, and not quite as fancy.
Personally, we like CHI. But, if we’re with a big group of people who like Pop music more than Electronic, we’ll hit Skybar instead.
Some potential plusses include that it’s located in Kiev’s Arena City, an area sometimes called the city’s “red light district.” Skybar also has a super, super nice view of Kiev’s skyline.
For Ukraine, prices are high. It’s about $20 per person to enter. Like with CHI, you’re best off calling ahead to book a table.
And of course, you’re going to see more beautiful women than you would know what to do with.
I’ll be honest, it’s hard to call this place a favorite. I even hesitated putting it on this list, as so many people have had mixed experiences here.
Hangover is a total “meat market” type of spot. It’s not exactly a nightclub, and not really a bar either. It’s essentially where younger people go to get as drunk as possible and dance in a weird, open floor plan type of space.
This spot reminds me of college bars in America. Thankfully, it’s slightly less dive-y on the inside, and has stronger face control.
In terms of “pickup” venues, this one isn’t bad, as it’s so incredibly packed every weekend. Even still, know what you’re getting yourself into before heading inside. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
This is one of our favorite venues in the entire city. Landing somewhere between a cocktail bar and an upscale club, this is possibly one of the best places in the city to have a nice drink.
The Bar is not only great for the weekends, but also for dates in Kiev. In many ways, this is perhaps the perfect destination for a second date with a cute Ukrainian girl.
Smokers can delight in the fact that there’s a smoking room. While the staff may not always be the most accommodating, the decor, vibe, and atmosphere of the venue are all top notch.
Pink Freud is another favorite of ours in Kiev. A bit less “fancy,” than The Bar, but still the same cocktail concept, it’s no wonder this is a local favorite.
Located right in the heart of Podol, you’ll find all sorts of libations on the menu. Fancy a Pisco Sour, or a Hawaiian Tiki Drink? You’re in the right place. Hitting a nice blend of tacky and fancy, Pink Freud is another fantastic place for taking a date, and perhaps even meeting girls as well.
Like most venues in Ukraine, most groups visit and sit at tables, so approaching groups can be a little challenging. Even still, this place is another clear favorite of ours.
Start your night off here, and venture around Podol for an eclectic night out.
RockFellow is home to one of our favorite outdoor beer gardens on earth! Located right next to the Hyatt, they serve a combination of quality beers, and actually sport a decent food menu too.
In fact, this place probably has some of the nicest service we’ve had in Kiev. For a city not known for having friendly bar staff, we’re always pleasantly surprised at how cool everyone is here.
This venue is a great place to kick back for an afternoon with some friends. That being said, we prefer to go there during summertime for their outdoor terrace. While it’s not the most social of venues, it’s convenient location make it a great place to have a quick bite to eat at before going out.
Meeting Women At Night in Kiev
If you’re in Kiev, it’s absolutely worth hitting the town and meeting the city’s hotties in real life. Approaching women you don’t know an important skill for any man to learn. Plus, each of the above venues are honestly a pretty good time.
Then again, relying soely on “night game” is never a good strategy if you’re going to put your best foot forward with meeting women in a new city.
First off, you have to remember that most girls in Ukraine can’t really afford to go spend $7 on a cocktail. While this may seem like peanuts to you, you must remember that salaries in Ukraine are extremely low when compared to the West.
Furthermore, let’s not forget that most normal Ukrainian girls aren’t party animals. If anything, most girls in Ukraine will go out a few times a year for a special occasion like a friend’s birthday, a graduation, or other social event. Furthermore, most girls in Ukraine go out as one big, mixed gender group.
The Annoying Table Service Culture in Kiev
Plus, don’t get me started on the “table service” culture in Kiev. Most bars in Ukraine lack a common area where everyone stands, socializes, and orders drinks. Naturally, this makes approaching women harder, as you’re forced to walk up to a table of people all sitting with each other.
While it can certainly be done, and each of the above bars is better than the average spot, meeting women at night isn’t exactly as great in Ukraine as it is elsewhere. It is absolutely still having a go at, but can be a little trickier than in other countries.
Conclusion – Kiev Nightlife Is Worth It!
Kiev nightlife gets a bad reputation. But, we believe that if you know what you’re looking for, the nightlife in Ukraine rivals that of any other country.
It’s important to keep in mind that picking up girls at the clubs and bars is possible. But, it’s not optimal.
Instead, we tend to suggest guys use a combination of dating apps, daytime approaches, and fun nights out sprinkled in as well.

Ukrainian culture generally dictates that a huge portion of a woman’s value is determined by her beauty. Like it or hate it, this is how it is.
In Ukraine, it generally benefits a woman to latch onto a man who is capable of providing. As such, she’s generally taught from a young age to make herself as attractive as possible (within reason). This is in anticipation of the event that Mr. Right rolls around one day (aka, you).
Think about it: a high value man has plenty of choices for the women he will date. Ukrainian women are well aware of this. Most of them know that if they stand any chance of having a good life further down the road, it benefits them to express their beauty to its fullest extent and find the best man possible.
If you’re from the West, I invite you to think about the 1950’s in the United States. Women generally had a similar mindset that Ukrainians do today. Feminism, in all of its terror, never really took place in Ukraine. As such, you’re left with a country that has not forgotten the age old wisdom of yesterday.
Women Are A Product of Their Enviornment
Above all else, Ukrainian women are extremely feminine.
In many ways, Ukrainian women are a 360 deal! It’s not just their appearance that is captivating, but their mannerisms, the way they carry themselves, and their behavior.
For example, a Ukrainian girl with Ukrainian genetics who is born in the United States is going to dress, act, and present herself in a completely different fashion than someone who has grown up in Ukraine.
American women are notorious for generally lacking self care. One of the most prevalent byproducts of feminism has been a “you go girl” attitude. This toxic mindset tells women that they should not do anything for the expressed pleasure of a man. This includes making themselves beautiful, something that has been common for women since the dawn of time.
As a result, you have women whose standard choice in clothing includes sweatpants. Her hair is done up in a sloppy bun. Best of all, he wears sandals 50% of the time, even in fall.
It’s quite a shame! In Ukraine, however, things could not be more different.
Socially Enforced Beauty Standards
In Ukraine, women will often times peer pressure other women into maintaining a flattering appearance.
It could be something as simple as an underhanded comment from her mother before she goes out, or her friends asking her “Are you seriously going to wear that on your date?” In either case, you can be sure that beauty standards are, for the most part, socially enforced in countries like Ukraine.
For example, a beautiful girl to a Western man versus a man living in a place like Morocco are going to be two different things entirely. For example, in the Middle East, a woman is considered to be boisterous if her hair is not covered by a hijab. In the West, such things are considered to be ridiculous.
Even between the United Kingdom and the United States, beauty standards are wildly different. Anybody who has spent time in the U.K. is well aware of the fact women wear HUGE amounts of makeup. It’s almost disturbing and clown like. On the converse, American women are actually rather subdued in their cosmetic choices.
But, we’d be lying if we said that Ukrainian genetics have nothing to do with why the country is a treasure chest of beautiful girls.
Beauty Around The World & Beautiful Ukrainian Women
There are a few traits that men universally find to be desirable across all cultures. Unsurprisingly, the majority of the Ukrainian women I’ve met are masters of exemplifying these traits in themselves.
Generally speaking, men across all cultures idealize women with facial symmetry, clear skin, and an “hourglass” figure. In other words, men seem to like women who have a hip-to-waist ratio of about .60 to .85.
It goes without saying that women in Ukraine tend to possess these characteristics. Even if they don’t naturally have clear skin, they will go to great lengths to clear themselves of blemishes. If a woman finds her facial symmetry to be slightly off, don’t be surprised if she possess skills that rival professional makeup artists to hide any imperfections. If she finds herself lacking in terms of her hip-to-waist ratio, she’ll often either begin working out or dress in a way that’s flattering to her figure.
That’s not to say that most Ukrainian girls are doing all of this soley for the attention of men, either. Due to a population imbalance in the nation, women do realize that they’re often competing for men. As such, they have to look their best at all times to maximize their chances of finding someone nice.
At the same time, women in Ukraine often compete with each other in a way that is nothing short of fierce. While you can be sure that Ukrainian women are most certainly dressing up to catch the eyes of men they fancy, there’s also a social stigma attached to looking less than her best.

That being said, Western standards of “beauty” are, unsurprisingly, those that seem to idealize women of slavic descent.
If you want proof of this, look at the wife of the president of the United States, Melania Trump. In many ways, Donald Trump embodies everything about the American dream. Love him or hate him, he built a massive fortune, has been a TV star, and is now the president of the United States.
And, who did he choose as his wife? Melania Knauss, a woman from the Eastern European nation of Slovenia. Should it come as any surprise? This is the type of woman that one of the most successful businessmen in American history has chosen.
Slovenian women look somewhat similar to Ukrainian girls, as they both embody somewhat of a Western preference for Slavic women.
Slavic women typically have light skin, are of medium sized height, high cheekbones, light eyes, and an ideal hip to waist ratio. While some man prefer Asian girls, hispanic women, or even black girls, it’s hard to deny that there’s something of a preference for women with slavic features in the United States.

As my grandmother used to say, “There’s not a man in the world who dosen’t like it when his woman bakes him a cake.” Sadly, this wisdom has largely been lost following the sexual revolution.
Western women often lack empathy for the struggles a man must undergo each day to simply stay alive. While women have their own share of issues, it is men who are tasked with the burden of performance. Women are born with value, and men must create it in the world.
Women in Ukraine still understand this age old wisdom that is being lost with each passing decade.

That’s not to say that your lady should be waiting on you hand and foot. But, it does mean that there’s nothing wrong with expecting women to do basic things like cook, clean, and be pleasant. This allows a man to continually work to become the best version of himself.
The beauty of arrangements like this is that as a man rises to new heights in his life, he has the ability to improve the lives of his woman and their eventual family as well.
Ukrainian girls are acutely aware of these situations. While many do enjoy partaking in employment to some degree, family always comes first.
To say that the sweetness and dutiful nature of a Ukrainian woman does not add to her beauty would be nothing short of a lie. In many ways, it’s not even the physical beauty of a Ukrainian woman that makes her so social. Rather, it is the fact that they are often “the whole package.”
